Qual plano de hospedagem escolher?

I'm setting up a company or a personal project. I've hired a professional to develop my website and he's asked me to take out a hosting plan. I don't know anything about it! So what now?

Well, this is the question thousands of people have and the answer really isn't that obvious.

Initially, your developer needs to give you some technical requirements, such as the total size of the site, the language to be developed, which database will be used, etc.

For example, your DEV has told you that the site will have 60MB of space and will use the PHP language with a MySQL database.

In the Host Master plan, for example, you have a total space of 60GB, 100 times more! And do I need all that? Firstly, it's hard to find plans with small amounts of space these days, and it's not cost-effective; secondly, you need to think about other things and the future! What other things? You're going to use e-mail, right? Then e-mail is a resource that demands a lot of space, depending on how you use it. What's more, feeding the site with content and images will take up a lot of space on your hosting over time.

What if my site is a hit? Thousands of visits a day? There are other services for that, such as Elastic Site, Cloud and even dedicated plans!

A great tip is that you don't have to get the best plan right away! You can start with a simple one and upgrade as needed! :)
